On the release of The Weatherman LP, Evidence said: "I am not relying on the success of Dilated Peoples to push this album, while they are featured on it and heavily co-signing my solo venture I understand that I am going to have to work twice as hard and get back in front of the people and re-introduce myself through shows, my music, and constant day-to-day networking with my fans. I am not married; I don't have kids, so I can stay on the road all year long if that is what it takes…so at the end of the day what I put in is what I get out and it will all be a reflection of me, Evidence." The next album in the works is going to be called Cats & Dogs. Evidence is also planning to come out with an album with producer/rapper The Alchemist and are to be called the "Step Brothers"
On July 17, 2009 it was announced that Evidence has signed a deal with Minneapolis based hip-hop label Rhymesayers Entertainment with a YouTube video showing Evidence signing the contract to release his new album Cats & Dogs due to be released in 2011.[1]
In an emotional interview on Conspiracy Worldwide Radio, Evidence discussed his 2011 projects, including the status of Dilated Peoples, a future DJ Premier collaboration and citing the problems he had with the internet releasing his music before he does.[2]

Думаю EV (также как и все, кто приложил к нему руку) должен гордиться этим альбомом. Такое чудо стоило ждать 4,5 года. Хочется пожать руку Эвиденсу.
Жаль только, что 27 сентября вышли еще несколько отличных альбомов и нет возможности сосредоточиться на чем-то одном. Но "Cats & Dogs" из тех альбомов которые, я уверен, будут слушаться бесконечно долго.

Прекрасный альбом.
Биты, скретчи, сэмплы - все ТАК круто сделано, мм. Да и сам Мр. Слоу Флоу стал еще лучше: нет уже тех клишированных тем, которые на "Синоптике" немного портили впечатление. За житуху и страгл Эв загонять стал не хуже, чем коллеги по РСЕ.
Немного жаль, что весткоустовская братва - Сик Джекен, П.А. - которая на прошлом альбоме дико хороша была, тут без куплетов осталась. Ну, может оно так и надо. Повторение пройденного не всегда есть хорошо.
В свой список лучших альбомов года обязательно "Котопсов" запишу. Хотя сей альбом у меня в этом списке по дефолту был. Улика. Д.П. ЙО!
